World Champion, NBA All Star, Defensive Player of the Year, Los Angeles Lakers Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace would like to invite you to his summer camp at The College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY. Metta will join the campers in daily activities while informing them about the importance of education.
Metta will be joined by Coach Dermon Player who has long ties and roots with New York City basketball. Coach Player scouted for the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA, coached in the Big East at Seton Hall University as well as St. Johns University, was the Director and Head Coach at national powerhouse Riverside Church AAU program, and also coached at Rice High School in NYC. This man has helped to mold hundreds of young men and women into collegiate athletes over the last 25 years.
Also on the roster are current and former professional athletes who have a "world of wisdom" to share with your children.
