Promotion Returns to Brooklyn Masonic Temple with Focus on Autism Awareness

Brooklyn, N.Y. (Tuesday, March 17, 2015) – Ronson Frank’s Uprising Promotions has confirmed the date and venue for its second show of 2015, returning to the Brooklyn Masonic Temple on Friday, May 15th. This show will continue and focus more intently on the initiative of Uprising Promotions to KO Autism, with proceeds from the night getting donated to The School For Language and Communication Development (SLCD) in Glen Cove, New York.

“We are really excited about coming back to Brooklyn,” said Ronson Frank, President of Uprising Promotions. “For every card, we do fundraising for autism awareness, but we really want to make a bigger contribution from this show in particular to draw more attention to the great work they do in Long Island. We are seeking the support of some local businesses for the cause, and we know that we can always count on the fighters to get behind it. Overall, we are looking to have a nice turnout and be able to give more back to the school. We always hype our boxers and have great match-ups, but we really want to make the focus of this show on the kids. We hope to raise more revenue so our donation to the school is something that can really make a difference.”

September marks the last time that Uprising Promotions held a show at the Masonic Temple, which is located at 317 Clermont Ave #4 in Brooklyn. The intimate setting ensures that there is not a bad seat in the house, and anyone who frequents Uprising Promotions shows already knows that there will be top-notch fights on the card.

“We always put together exciting bouts with young up-and-coming guys, and this show will not be any different,” Frank confirmed. “Stay tuned for the lineup.”

This card is being sponsored by Ronson Frank Fitness, Bill4Time, Belaire Rosé Champagne, Alma Restaurant, Resolution Sports and Charlie’s Auto Collision in Long Island City.
