Big Time Boxing is Back in Brooklyn

The last world title fight in Brooklyn took place on August 5, 1931 when defending Light Heavyweight World Champion Maxie Rosenbloom outpointed Jimmy Slattery over 15 rounds at Ebbets Field. On Octber 20 it returns in a big way. This generations Ebbets field will be home to not 1 but 4 major title fights when the Barclays Center Opens it doors to Boxing. The Main event will be boxing Legend Eric Morales vs The Hard Hitting Danny "Swift" Garcia. This light weigh bout will be for Danny's WBC belt, which Danny won in the first battle vs Morales. The Co-main event willl be Brooklyn Native Paulie'The MagicMan" Malignaggi vs Pablo Caser Cano. This battle will be for Paulie's WBA welterweigh title. Paulie is Looking to make Barclay his home and has already been embraced by the arena and its CEO Brett Yurmark.
Also on the TV card is Brooklyns Adopted son Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillen fighting for his first World title and the Heavy hitting Randell "KO KIng" Baily vs Devon Alexander.

This is going to be a great event with plenty of local boxing legends in the audiance. It would be great to see the place filled to capacity for this inaugural event. Remember there is only one 1st time.

I am working with Barclays and Paulie to make sure this event is a success.
