Marine Park Golf Course Ready for thr season ahead

New Tee Boxes As Mother Nature has transformed from (a very mild) Winter into Spring, Marine Park Golf Course continues her transformation as well. Course renovations are moving forward highlighted by new tee boxes on holes two and five. The second hole will be 436 from the blue tees, 403 from the white, 360 from the gold, and 330 from the red. While the main tee boxes have moved up a little bit, the wind off the water will ensure that #2 remains a challenging par 4. Also, the tee boxes are now separated from the sixth hole by a long berm, giving some privacy to players on either side. New tee boxes are being constructed on Hole 2 A new cart path is being constructed by the new tee boxes of Hole 2 along with long, grass berms. Hole number five is also receiving a make-over as we construct brand-new tee boxes that will shorten the first par 3 golfers encounter in their round. The fifth hole will play 181 from the blue tees, 150 from the white, 128 from the gold, and 103 from the red. As you look at the green, you can also see tall mounds surrounding the green and then traversing across to surround the green on #2. Rough and fescue on the mounds will add a visual backdrop to the target, and be a challenge to anyone who goes long. Later on this year we plan to rebuild the bunkers guarding the green on the left and right sides. The new Red Tee box will make the Fifth Hole 103 yards The grounds crew continues the renovation of the Fifth Hole's tee boxes and the tall berms surrounding the green. Clinics and Private Lessons Marine Park Golf Course clinics and lessons are the perfect way to lower your scores. Now is your chance to work with a professional to improve your swing or to introduce someone to the game of golf. A variety of options are available depending on your level of experience. You can learn the basics of the game in a group environment with other beginner golfers or, for those of you with some experience under your belt, learn more advanced techniques. Either way, you will be learning from our staff professionals in a fun, relaxing environment.
